Fasting 24 Hours Cholesterol Range




There has been a lot of information that has come out in recent years about cholesterol, the majority of which is falsified to a certain extent. The medical community has really pushed the idea that if you want to lead a healthy life that is free of heart disease and stroke, you need to make sure that your low-density cholesterol, or LDL cholesterol is in check. Along with that, they tell you that your HDL, or high density cholesterol needs to be at healthy levels as well. The reality of the situation is, however, the cholesterol may not matter all that much.

Most of us do something that is unhealthy and perhaps we are carrying around additional weight, smoking cigarettes or living a life without exercise. Even stress can cause high cholesterol levels but there is new research that is beginning to uncover the fact that the problem lies in these external sources and the fact that we are not treating our body properly, not in the fact that we have an imbalance in our cholesterol. Cholesterol is not something that is evil, it is something that our body manufacturers on its own and it needs it in order to provide the cellular structure within the body with exactly what it needs.

If you are diagnosed with cholesterol problems and you are concerned about the possibility of having heart disease or stroke as a result of it, you may be able to turn the tide by eating more raw food. I'm not telling you this because raw food does not contain cholesterol, which it doesn't, but I am telling you it because eating raw food is going to provide your body with what it needs in order to be healthy. If you feed your body properly and give it the fuel that it needs in order to survive, it is going to be able to heal itself in many cases and even though your cholesterol may not change significantly, the possibility of you having a serious health issue is going to change.

Although ideally, it would be a good idea for you to eat an all raw food diet, that is not going to be practical for most individuals. Rather than trying to eat all raw food, why not shoot for a high percentage of raw food in your diet, perhaps 75 or 80% raw? Even this difference will make a significant change in your overall health that will show both in the way that you feel and the way that you look.
