It seems that as we get older, we become a little bit more concerned about our health. This is to be expected but unfortunately, we are fed a number of different things by the health community that is not always as honest as it should be. A good example of this is our cholesterol levels and as we get older, we commonly see that our cholesterol is getting higher and higher. The reality of it is, this may not be as a result of us getting older but it is because our body is having difficulties internally that are associated with aging.
Cholesterol can be a good indicator as to how our overall health is going. The unfortunate thing is, it is impossible for us to turn back the hands of time and to go back to a younger age but that does not mean that we need to take old age lying down. As we get older, the RNA and DNA in our cells tends to break down and that is what causes aging in many cases. We can eat foods that contain this RNA/DNA and replenish our cellular structure with it. If we do this regularly, we typically see that many of the problems that we are experiencing as a result of aging begin to reverse themselves.
Many of the foods that contain RNA/DNA also contain cholesterol, such as calves liver and sardines. It is important for you to understand that if you eat additional cholesterol, the liver is going to naturally adjust the amount of cholesterol that it produces. You will experience far more health benefits as a result of eating an antiaging diet than the problems that you were experience from eating a diet that is high in cholesterol. Best of all, you will typically see your cholesterol numbers even out rather quickly.
