Nimotop is a medication found in a class named calcium channel blockers. When low density cholesterol, which is also known as bad cholesterol, gets deposited on the arteries as plaque, it determines the blood to flow with more difficulty. The plaque contains several substances, among which calcium is one of the most important.

The Role of Nimotop

Nimotop and Pregnant Women

According to the Food and Drugs Administration, this medication is found in the pregnancy category C. This means that it may damage the fetus.
