Casodex is a drug used for treating prostrate cancer. It is an antiandrogen and it works by blocking the actions of male hormones (androgens).

Does the doctor have to be informed about my medical history when Casodex is prescribed to me?

Yes. Before taking this medication you should inform your doctor of any history of serious illness or liver disease since this information may require adjustments to the treatment pathway or dosage levels.
