How is administered?

It is distributed as a soft white cream, a white to yellowish ointment and also as a colorless, non-running scalp solution. is for external use only to treat adults suffering from Psoriasis. Children should only use ointment, as the safety of the other forms has not been sufficiently tested on children. Women who are breast feeding, pregnant, or intend to be, should not use as the medication could be passed on to the child.

Both the ointment and cream are applied in the same manner. The medication is applied directly to the affected areas with great care not to spread the preparation on healthy surrounding skin. If you get on healthy skin, it should be washed off immediately. ointment and creams should never be applied to the face, scalp, genitalia or folds of skin.

The scalp treatment is applied ONLY to the scalp. The medication should be applied a few drops at a time and only to the affected areas.
