Pay particular attention to see if you develop any of the following conditions:
- Feeling drained
- Weakness
- Drowsy
- Swelling of the ankles
- Jaundice

If you are diabetic it is important to note that depakote medication can alter the readings of the urine tests, it can cause a false positive.

Who can take depakote medication?
Depakote medication should not be taken if you are suffering from:
- liver disease
- family history of liver problems
- porphyries
- children under 18
- If you are allergic to any of the ingredients or you have had an allergic reaction before when using this medication.
Special care should be taken when using depakote medication when you are pregnant. There is an increased risk of deformities when taking depakote.
