You will also want to know if the wire is lined with plastic. This will strengthen its integrity and it will be less sharp. It will also protect it from water. One you have picked out the underwire bra for you take several colors and styles and head for the dressing room. You will want to try them all on and compare how they feel. Make sure you can twist and bend in them comfortably and not fall out. If you are unsure exactly what your size is then ask to be measured appropriately. An underwire bra can be very stylish and supportive if you have the type and size. Make sure the fabric is soft and comfortable. Stay away from lace that can cause itching and irritation. Satins and other synthetic fibers are the best types of fabrics. They can be machine washed and dried with out worrying about distortion and the underwire getting lost. If you are worried about drying your underwire then let it hang dry. This will preserve the integrity of the fabric so the wire will be less likely to break through.

Many women find that after they have dedicated the time to get a good underwire bra that fits right they love it. Most do not even notice that the wire is there and find the bra more supportive and comfortable than any bra they had previous. Having the extra support that the underwire bra provides can be a girl's best friend. It will give you a lift and give you that great cleavage at the same time as reducing your back stress.
