Adults and teenagers who are suffering from motion sickness are advised to take one 50 mg tablet every four hours or as needed. There is no recommended dosage for Dramamine that young children can take. Unless the doctor specifically advises it, don't give Dramamine to children younger than two years. Special precautions

Taking this medication may cause dizziness and hot weather conditions may aggravate this condition. In case you feel dizzy after taking the drug, try to lie down or sit for the moment. Try to do away with strenuous activities that could increase your body temperature. While on medication, your body may become more sensitive to heat so you also need to stay out of the sun for a while. If you must be out in the heat for a prolonged period, wear protective clothing or sunscreen.
