Duricef is a brand name for the antibiotic cefadroxil. This is a common cephalosporin-type of medication that is used to treat mild bacterial infections like strep throat, urinary tract infections and pharyngitis.

Dosage

Duricef medication should only be administered in cases where in the infection is evidently caused by susceptible bacteria. This antibiotic cannot treat all other infections resulting from fungi, virus or parasites.
