Solving Quadratic Equations
So far, we have only done an example when the value before the x2 isequal to 1. It works exactly the same way though whatever the value is.
eg.
3x2 - 8x + 4 = 0
(The two numbers are -6 and -2)
3x2-6x-2x+4=0
3x(x-2)-2(x-2)=0
(3x-2)(x-2)=0
3x-2=0
3x=2
x=2/3
x-2=0
x=2
Therefore the two solutions here are 2/3 and 2error
