So your bonus for today is a solver for simultaneous equations. A simultaneous equation is when you have two equations in the form of:

ax + by = c
dx + ey = f

As you need to find 2 values and you have two equations, the solutions can be found if you know how. For the moment, I am going to skip the explanation of how to solve simultaneous equations, but give you a form where you can fill in the values from your question and get an immediate answer. Who could ask for more?!

great for simple equations, but how, for example, can your automatic solver solve

x^2+y=2           y=3x-1      (where ^ is "to the power of")

or any other simultanious equation with any indecese in it...
