Wrestling Is A Life

Wrestlers often entertain and enjoy earning a name in the halls of fame. Most wrestlers follow a pattern, i.e. winning the champions. Most wrestlers have their own fans. Or rather, there is a selection of people that follow certain wrestlers during matches. Some people go berserk during the matches, which is totally nuts. This brings to light many areas of wrestling, yet the truth is left beyond the shadows. Wrestling has brought forth many controversies, and continues to bring forth more.

Wrestlers often take on wrestling as their main career but it's not the one that can guarantee flow of funds for their whole life. Many former icons tried hard to settle their life outside ring. When they are at their best, they can expect good earning but once there comes a lean period, they find it hard even to have two ends meet.

Wrestling had its way into the first Modern Olympic Games that were held in 1896 at Athens. That time it was a Greco Roman style under no weight specification category. This style is a limited option wrestling type where players have to fight under various restrictions in name of rules as like, to grab their opponent around the upper body only. The use of leg were forbidden. However, some suspicion does exist with regards to the type of wrestling in first Olympics as if it was Greco Roman or freestyle. Nevertheless, this inclusion was followed by a short period of few years' exclusion and then again, in year 1904, at Saint Louis, Missouri Olympics wrestling was back as a sport.

Today, the wrestlers are as dirty as they want to be in the rings, which no one seems to care anymore. This is proof that the countries are suffering major drops in moral and standards. Wrestling has lead to some fatalities along the lines as it stands today. Some of the previous wrestlers in the arena of wrestling died after taking drugs, yet what drove them to drugs? Competition! While most will claim otherwise, history has a book of proven records that will call anyone claiming a liar.

If the wrestlers give in against the pressure of their image and popularity, they could even land up in more critical situation as WCW star Lex Luger had, he was arrested on charges of drug possession. Many times, wrestlers get engaged in other crimes such as theft or fraud so as to meet their requirements.

Other critical situation that could be faced is with regards to the health of the wrestlers. As many of them relied on artificial energy sources during their good time, they might face serious after effects at later

Stage, leading to various ailments, including amputations, etc... Wrestlers also always carried a risk for accidents during their fight and sometimes this could prove to be fatal or could lead to any permanent malfunction.

While wrestling is proven to be Soap and a waste of valuable time, some of the older wrestlers still make a lasting statement. Sgt Slaughter once more, has helped people around the world, both in war and in society. Outside of the ring, this man has a powerful reputation. Other players left a lasting statement outside and inside the rings. Andre the Giant is one of the wrestlers that set a positive example to the world. If only someone would have looked inside the real picture of the lasting statement this big man made, since I am yet to hear anyone outside myself state that the Giant gave good example as for continuing life no matter what you suffer
